FdFC creates performance work through collaboration with artists across disciplines, combining contemporary circus/dance with artistic curiosity, risk and reflection.Our mandate is to remove barriers, increase inclusiveness, produce arts and cultural activities, strengthen our local, regional and national community, and inspire and enhance its well-being through sharing the joys of circus!

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and collaborate with the Artistic Director, Holly Treddenick, to prepare and realize numerous projects that Femmes du Feu Creations (FdFC) will handle between June and August 2021
Assist with drafting contracts for FdFC artists and technicians
Facilitate contract approval and gather signatures from all cast members and technical crew
Research, identify and create a list of local school administrators to expand FdFC’s outreach network
Research into funding sources
Assist with grant review and editing for various FdFC projects
Research relevant news articles or fun facts for social media campaigns
Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaign for the 2021-2022 season
Proofread press releases and e-newsletters
Update FdFC website with relevant content
Schedule social media content on FdFC social media accounts
Research cross-promotion opportunities and execute partnerships
Go on-site during rehearsals and events to take pictures for communication and social media purposes

Comfortable communicating in a variety of situations with a variety of people – enjoy being around people.
Digital skills – design skills, ability to use various digital systems to input, access, analyze, organize, create and more.

LGBTQ2 youth
Youth who have not previously been employed and for whom this would be their first job experience
