Join us for the first ever Circus & Theatre March Break Mashup!
This 2-day March Break camp will be a mash up of circus, theater, and a splash of Welland history! Mornings will start with a tour of the museum, story telling and a showing of some fun images from Welland’s exciting history. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the hand’s on section of the museum. Campers will then go right into exploring and learning circus skills. This includes a warm-up, stretches, games, acro, pyramids, dance, prop manipulation, and more. The end of each day we will use our circus skills to create vignettes, re-enacting historical images from Welland, selected by the museum. This is a physically active and socially engaged camp, so come ready to play!
This camp is a collaboration between The Welland Museum and Femmes du Feu Creations (FdFC). This camp is for kids age 7-14 years old.
