Impossibility
Impossibility, combines modern dance with aerial bungee skills. The work investigates two people who have the same dream; one experiences it as ecstasy, the other as a nightmare.

The dancers use the bungee cords as partners to spin infinitely and jump against gravity, moving off balance with seamless recoveries. Precise and tightly arranged dance sequences set to driving rock music oppose the flowing, floating, and surreal movements of the bungee. With larger than life emotion, expression and extreme physicality, Impossibility has a defining theatrical edge.

Impossibility was premiered and presented by Ambitious Enterprises in At The Wrecking Ball (2007). In the re-mount of this work we will extend the piece from ten to approximately fifteen minutes, as the length was restricted in the previous performance. We are interested developing certain segments and working more closely with an outside eye. Through the Fringe Festival, this re-mount of Impossibility will be exposed to new audiences.
